I only get to go fly fishing with Lindsey a few days a year, and boy, do I look forward to those trips! Granted, I am a little biased, being his mom. That doesn't mean he cuts me any slack if I "horse" the fish. (That's an inside family joke.)
Lindsey made his first fishing trip to a high mountain lake with his great grandparents at the ripe old age of three months. By the time he was five years old, he was spending full days fishing those lakes with his grandpa. Lindsey took that same grandpa on his last fly fishing trip on the lower Flathead when he was 95. What a day they had...that's another story.
If you are looking for an unparalleled fly fishing experience Lindsey is your guy. Guides with more experience, knowledge and patience are few and far between. He will row that boat up stream, down stream, and in circles if that's what it takes for you to land your fish. The two of us were tuckered last year when he did just that, as I spent more than 30 minutes hauling in a 20-plus pound carp! OMG!
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an avid experienced fisherman, Lindsey will have you catching fish in 20 minutes, if they are even thinking about biting. And when you are tired and need a break, the scenery is spectacular with plenty of wildlife photo ops. Few things in life are better than a day on the Missouri River with your son netting that nice brown you just caught!
