Channel Outfitters is a small personalized Montana Fly Fishing operation, dedicated to the pursuit of wild trout. We can teach beginners to cast and land fish in a short time, and make them feel comfortable doing it. Our trips are not just about catching fish but also to teach anglers about the rivers, fish, and the insects the fish eat. You will walk away a better and more ethical fly fisher. For more experienced anglers, we offer many choices that range from easy dry fly fishing action to the more technical and challenging waters.
We begin fishing in March; April brings some of the best hatches of the season. We fish all the way through November, with the possibility of good dry fly fishing all season. Channel Outfitters is permitted to guide on several of Montana's best rivers like the Missouri River, Flathead River, Bitterroot River, Blackfoot River, and the Clark Fork River. This makes it possible to do multi-day trips to different locations.
